Who is a Candidate?

To qualify for weight loss surgery, you must fit one of the 2 criteria listed below:

  1. If you are 100 lbs or more over ideal body weight or body mass index (B.M.I.) more than 40
  2. If you are 80 lbs or more than ideal weight (B.M.I. more htan 35) with serious comorbidities such as: diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, degenerative arthritis, hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol, triglycerides, etc.) severe acid reflux
